Founded on 9th June 1949, the 'Sharadashram Vidyamandir' (SVM) is working relentlessly for the last more than 68 years to provide good educational facilities to the children mainly of lower middle class and underprivileged sections of the society. The Trust was established by late Shri Sadanand alias Baburao Dattatray Parulekar, a social worker and Freedom Fighter under the able guidance of another renowned social worker late Shri Acharya Bhise along with Shri S. K. Patil, former Railway Minister & Justice Shri M.C. Chhagala former Law Minister, Union Government.

Today the trust runs 13 schools from Montessori to Jr. College including an Industrial Training Center a Technical High School.

At present about 5500 students benefit from the courses conducted by the Schools under the able guidance of about 270 well trained and experienced teaching and other staff. The tradition of selfless service and democratic functioning laid down by Shri Acharya Bhise reflects in the Management of the Trust, which is looked after by qualified and experienced professionals.

The Trust has laid emphasis on multifarious activities for the all-round development of the students; i.e. Libraries, Laboratories, Computer Centers , Smart Classrooms equipped with on the edge technologies/content and House Magazine.
